New Automated Rotary Evaporator Expands Our Production Capabilities
Investment in Modern Technology for Chemical Production and Precious Metal Recovery
As part of the continuous expansion of our Galvano Competence Center, we have invested in a new automated rotary evaporator. This investment significantly enhances our capabilities in chemical production and precious metal recovery.
The system enables gentle and efficient evaporation of solutions under vacuum and supports us in:
- Concentrating and evaporating precious metal solutions during production processes
- Removing and recovering volatile compounds
- Increasing recovery yields from solutions with low precious metal concentrations
Flexible Processing of Different Solution Volumes
Instead of using a large-scale rotary evaporator with evaporation flasks that can no longer be handled by a single operator, we deliberately chose an automated rotary evaporator system featuring automated filling and emptying.
This allows solutions of virtually any volume to be processed, substantially increasing the flexibility of the equipment. At the same time, the system enables largely unattended operation and reduces manual handling requirements.
Technical Features of the System
The new 20-liter rotary evaporator is equipped with automatic filling and emptying functions as well as a high-performance dual condenser system for the efficient recovery of distilled volatile compounds.
While volatile components can be recovered and reused, non-volatile components such as precious metal salts remain concentrated in the residue. These characteristics make the system particularly well suited for IWG chemical production and precious metal recovery operations.
