Surface variants in our plating shop

Structure, shine and perfection – we give your surface that special finish.

Our service in the plating shop offers high-quality finishing options for electroplated surfaces. Depending on the desired function and appearance, various processing methods are available to optimally meet both technical and visual requirements.

Our surface variants combine functionality with first-class surface quality. We would be happy to advise you personally and work with you to develop the ideal solution for your application.

Glossy surfaces – Classic high reflectivity

A shiny surface gives the workpiece a particularly elegant appearance with high brilliance and a mirror-like shine. This finish is ideal for decorative applications where a high-quality visual impression is paramount.

Brushed surfaces – Elegant lines, technical look

By brushing, the surface of the workpiece gets a fine line structure with a uniform grinding pattern – perfect for applications where a high-quality but non-reflective look is needed. This mix of functionality and aesthetic appeal makes the brushed surface especially attractive for visible components in design or engineering.

Velour nickel look – velvety matt and subtle.

The velour nickel finish is a particularly elegant version of galvanised surfaces. It is produced using our special nickel electrolyte Nidega® pure Velvet without any mechanical pre-treatment such as blasting or brushing. The deposited velour nickel layer can be perfectly chrome-plated, silver-plated, rhodium-plated or gold-plated.

The result is a silky matt, non-reflective finish that gently diffuses light and conveys a subtle, high-quality impression. The surface has a pleasant, fine feel and impresses with its understated elegance – ideal for applications where not only technical properties but also design and haptics are important.

Blasted surfaces – matting with character

The blasted surface is a particularly popular surface variant when a uniform, silk matt appearance is desired. Controlled blasting with fine blasting material creates a homogeneous, slightly rough structure on the base material, which is not only visually appealing but also offers functional advantages. The surface is given a subtle, elegant matt finish that reduces annoying reflections and gives the component a modern, technical look.
